I am afraid to say that knowing hotel wall thicknesses it is likely they will contact. Take a video as proof.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I am currently sat on my bed in a hotel room with my phone on the bedside cabinet. Less than 0.5m through the wall it sounds like someone else is doing the same. In the event that they are diagnosed with having the virus at some time in the next couple of days, will my phone register me as having spent the whole night less than 0.5m apart and require me to self isolate or will the blue tooth signal not penetrate through a hotel wall ? Is there not an on/off toggle so that you can turn it off when you are in a “safe zone” Genuine question as I have yet to download it.

I imagine if you turn off your bluetooth and location settings it would prevent access?

At the bottom of the app page is a turn off switch for contact tracing for when you are in a "safe" zone.

How many public locations, pubs, restauraunts, shops etc. have or display in an obvious place the QR code to scan? Haven't found any yet although easy enough for a business to obtain one it seems. Until they become universal the scan location part of the app is redundant.

How many public locations, pubs, restauraunts, shops etc. have or display in an obvious place the QR code to scan? Haven't found any yet although easy enough for a business to obtain one it seems. Until they become universal the scan location part of the app is redundant. In the last week, I have been into a pub, 3 cafes. a restaurant and a 'stately home' - all have had track and trace codes on the entrance, and in all but one cases we have been asked to use it (although I haven't got the App, my Mrs has).

Ditto. Even the old school NT have them at Sutton Hoo. Lets see Richard what the Fir & Feathers have at lunch today.
