Not only a thing, but very effective.

Our kitchen tap had some porous areas, and not only did Captain Tolleys fix this, but it lasted months, before needing reapplying, standing up to red hot water.

Hoping it will cure my wet foot syndrome in my Supersport !!!

Dave suggested using on where the hinged bonnet attaches to the main structure.

I’ve ordered some just for fun as I reckon I have cure the problem though I’m not going to water test it because if it leaks I’m just gonna want to set light to it.

I’ve undone all 10 Alan bolts securing the heater box and lifted it enough to get some clear sealer under it.

Long pipe on the end of the sealant nozzle directing it to the area by taping it to a long implement sorted it.

On our car there were two issues relating to the heater/aircon box.
On the side of the box, under the bonnet, there is a drain spigot that comes out just above the footwell and near the ECU cover. Condense water from the aircon drains out there and used to run under the ECU cover and past the main cable grommet to drip into the footwell. In my case, LHD car, on the passenger's feet. To resolve this I added a silicon drain tube to the spigot and put a neoprene gasket under the flange on the ECU cover. To tell the truth we have started to get an occasional drip again so I must check both the drain tube and the gasket.
The other issue was water spraying out of the lower vents, from the lower airbox, again into the footwell. It turned out that the drain tube(s) (can't remember if there is one or two) are in a flexible, fairly soft, clear plastic and were bent or squashed flat. Some re-routing resolved the problem. I must also check this again to make sure it is still OK.

Both these issues related more to the aircon than rainwater so I suspect that in some way rainwater is draining out before getting in to the main chamber of the heater box.

Yes,, there are 4 drain spigots on the upper heater box, two front and two rear. The one you mention near the fuse box is impossible to get a pipe onto.

Instead I’ve managed to seal the heater box to the bulkhead so water should roll past after exiting the drain spigots.

As for AC drain, I’ve yet to experience that.

Wouldn't it be easier just to change the kitchen tap

it's really good stuff - particularly for very fine cracks/leeks ; not sure if it will cure Kev's wet foot though....
