Can’t think of a suitable title except the above. I’ve had my 4/4 (Royal Ivory) for 21 years, bought from Bill Wykeham in London for £10k. Previous owner (from new) had done 137000 in the ten years of his ownership (admittedly a new 2 litre block, gearbox and clutch at 85000). Mileage now a mere 147700. Close to a record for a 32 year old car?

I've only got 43,000 but that is since July 2013, so an average of 6,142 a year. So I'm on plan for 250,000 in 40 years. But that would be in 33 years, when I'll be 101... possible but improbable...

Goodness that makes my 43,000 miles in 15 years seem rather puny.
I need to get out more.

Don't worry Simon - When I brought my 4/4 15 years ago, it had 24,000ish, and now it has 91,000ish. So 4,466 ave/yr (mostly travelling to Le Mans every year drive) and simliar. Not a high average this year though, understandably.

Crickey, your Moggy must be in shock going from nearly 14,000 miles a year to only 500 miles a year.

My Mog is registrated November 2018 and has a German „parttime-Registration“ from March until end of November.

This days we collected the 19.000 KM.

Our 4/4 has got almost 90.000km by now. I bought her exactly six years ago in October as an ex demo with 6.000km on the clock.
