Do you think there will be a successor model? MG does not have an engine larger than 1380cc, and that one may struggle to pass Euro 5 approval.

I think that they won’t fail to see the potential demand, the look of the vehicle is superb but I have met more than one new Caterham owner that didn’t buy a MTW because of big reliability concerns. If they do continue with the model in some form they’ll have to get it demonstrably reliable next time or it’ll prove to be a bad investment for them. An all new six, four and three is a big ask for a small company.

I did hear from a reliable source that the new 3 wheeler will have an enclosed engine and be very diferent in appearance to the current M3W

If I had wanted an enclosed engine and reliability I would have purchased a Vanderhall.

Not convinced about an enclosed engine three wheeler. The sheer daftness of the M3W with its motor stuck out in the breeze is what appealed to me. The originally promised modern day reliability did have a certain appeal too...

It sure surprised me when I was asked the same question. It was really hard to not come up with a rude crude answer but my better side prevailed and I pointed to the big hot noisy thing on the front.
