Took one of my kids for a ride yesterday and, after stopping at a pub for lunch, the heavens opened as we ran to the car in the torrential downpour.
After climbing onto the rather wet seats and setting off, we soon dried out as the rain was deflected and the warm air acted like a hairdryer - until we hit standing traffic where we got soaked again.
Next time, I'm taking a bottle of shampoo and some shower gel!
