I might be able to help you. I have an old Autobooks manual which has wiring diagrams for: Series ! 1936, series 1 coupe 1938 and series 1 1946-47.

I am happy to photo copy these pages an mail to you if you supply me your postal address. on my email

This one is from the Brooklands series book.

If you'd like a photocopy let me know this is the best my scanner can do.

Some years back an elderly Porsche club friend on seeing my Morgan told me of his first car which was a Morgan 4/4 he gave me both the instruction book (1949 vintage) and a note book of his ownership expenditure. At the time I scanned it to digitise it and looked up all the series 1 owners on the Morgan registry who had provided an email address and sent the handbook to them.

In more recent times I provided the digitised instruction book to the MSCC MHR. Unfortunately the instruction book did not include a wiring diagram.. Pity.

Just like the new cars then, I've yet to own a Morgan that conforms to it's allotted diagram..

Good luck in unravelling the mystery.
