A US colleague told me his wisdom on aging;-
1. Never waste a stiff
2.Pee whenever possible
3. Never trust a fart

It reminds me of being a lad we had the biggest workman's club 4,000+ members for many many miles and the ship yard workers used to come in bus loads on a sat . We would climb on the wall and watch the fights miners v- ship yard'rs in the car park
My parents had the chippy and the buses loaded with them would park in our road . One night they stole the salt vinegar
and my mothers flowers etc in her window . She was out in a shot went from bus to bus giving them hell digging her finger in there face telling them the buses don't move till its sorted AND IT WAS , by God was she quick tempered
