Well you need to check from time to time, perhaps before you go touring.
I don’t carry a spare radiator but I suppose it could suddenly block up and the steering might get a bit stiff

Lucky to get the remains out with an easy out!! Hate those things with a passion.

My mate on the other hand doesn't, but then he's the bloke you go to when you snap one in the job because he's got spark erosion gear!!

I tend to wait till daylight and not in party clothes, it's a much better way to do the greasing when touring!!!!

And you can usually grab a bath towel off the cleaner's trolley to kneel on in the morning.

I was not so lucky with the easy out. I had to bang a small flat ended screwdriver in with a hammer. Luckily the threads were well greased!

Swivel fitting arriving today. Wolf really are good!

Good, I think you will be happy. Of course it is not like you fit the system, grease from above and then forget that there is something deeper down. I prefer to grease quite often, say a few shots every month and of course before a long trip. The remote greasing permits me to do this so easily that I actually do it, instead of postponing. No king pin/bushing/MOT issues in 41k km, in spite of my car being a Devol version. But I also get under it once in a while, checking fittings, pipes, any surplus grease, thighten bolts ant nuts etc. It is not a question of either/or, but both. I also am very aware of squeaking in the steering. The Wolf kit comes with a red and blue nipple cap to indicate top and bottom greasing points. They get quite messy, so I have taken them away and substituted with a blue and red cable tie around the pipe. And yes, the Devol cars have only one grease nipple at the bottom of the KP. But the top nipple/pipe is there, waiting for a new KP/bushings some day....
