I have a 2006 4/4 with black seats but scuff markets on side of drivers seat ( due to seat belt rubbing?) and was considering Colourlock either doing it myself or going to a local “détailler” who does this work. Has anyone used the product? If yes, are you satisfied with the result? Thanks for input/comments.

I have used a leather repair kit from furniture clinic on many cars with great results, to get a perfect match you can send a sample of your leather and they will mix the" paint" which you spray on the damaged area and then seal with a clear top coat of matt/satin or gloss, the products are water based and quick drying. The kit includes leather prep, alcohol cleaner, colour match, sealant of choice , airbrush and canister of propellant.

I too have used the furniture clinic stuff through an airbrush.

Actually recoloured my chair in the house from tan to dark blue.

Good gear

I have also used Furniture Clinic dyes with good results

Andrew, you mention a black interior, FWIW a renowned car trimmer once told me he gets excellent results with simple black boot polish to recolour scuffs

Thank you to everyone for the input, great looking results on the tan seats! Boot polish eh, might be with a try, but will not be wearing the white dress after, thank you Viper!

These squeeze black shoe dyes on scuffs to good results. Available from most big supermarkets.
