I always knew that somewhere in the world there was an island of my dreams where its inhabitants did not keep their steeds in centrally heated garages https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xkYP7Ejg2EGraham, if you fancy starting up a business there with me perhaps car detailing might not be on the agenda! Look out for "copyrighted headlamps" towards the end of the video PS pinched from the Defender forum.

I like the downhill start and no brakes mod. I guess they don't have an MOT

Wonderful stuff - thanks for posting.
I keep telling Mrs F that with the local standard of driving, a bent up old SIII with rusty scaffolding poles for bumpers is the ideal vehicle. That way, people might think twice before pulling out in front of us.
Our quickest exit from an NEC concert was when we saw The Firm (Jimmy Page & Paul Rodgers band) in the 1980s. My SIII didn't look too bad - there was one straight panel. It did have attitude though. It also had a trail of white smoke when first purchased. I put it in first and let it tick over - nobody got in our way and we had a smooth run to the M42. Once at full cruise (50mph), I thought there was something wrong though since I couldn't hear the engine. I put that down to the concert.

Look at the explosion resistant fuel tank at 4:10 And the spare water to refill the rad, where the passenger jumps out & fills it as the car moves as it can't stop!
