Road Rat, the quarterly Magazine, Ratchet their free on line mini mag, download here - issue 4 where the Morgan design team showed concepts for the future. Imagine the first one with three wheels rather than 4

Wait .... what?
Is the current model Morgan 3 Wheeler being discontinued? I must've been living under a rock.
There is no mention of this at: https://www.morgan-motor.com/news/
Is this really true?

Unfortunately this is going to happen. Still no official new from MMC, but the Euro5 specifications will kill our loved 3-Wheeler as we know it.

Look at the bright side! You're lucky (as I am) as you got one of the very last modern M3Ws!

That is sad news indeed. M3W is such a unique vehicle that I wish Morgan could find a way to keep it alive somehow.
It fits and represents the Morgan brand so well that it would be a shame if it just fades away.

I don't think it will "fade away'.

I don't think it will fade away either...

The challenge is to find a Euro5 or even 6 engine. A V-Twin seems not possible. So my guess is that the new one (whenever it will appear) will be a much more standard engine under the bonnet.

I'm still missing something. Why not go electric again but front-wheel drive, same platform otherwise? I'd sign up in a heartbeat.

The EV version being possibly resurrected will be interesting to follow.

Thanks - hadn't come across this (another boutique car mag...) despite it being local!

I did hear from a reliable source that the new 3 wheeler will have an enclosed engine and be very diferent in appearance to the current M3W
