Currently running on TV is a revist to the adventures of Michael Palin and is travels in the 90s, (full circle) one of the programs involved him driving up the West Coast of USA , San Francisco to Vancoover, he made that Journey in a Classic (Red) Morgan, i wondered if that was hired or loaned from Bill Fink .
We drove up the west coast right passed Bills door, i am probably one of the few Englishmen who have visited Bills place, sadly my timing was wrong and Bill was away at the time, however Tchrek and her mam were very welcoming and gave us a full tour of the property including the Workshops, it was a total time warp.
There was a Celebration of Bill Fink's life church service (17/10/20) posted on a few Morgan facebook sites last night, including a very moving and loving tribute delivered by Tcherek amongst others. Clear he was a very much loved and respected man in the Morgan and rowing world.

Moving...to say the least. I spoke, briefly, with Tchereck at the 2018 Plus 8 event, she thought Tarka looked cool, possibly because It carries the Plus 8 50th Anniversary Badge!

I regret not ever meeting Bill Fink, especially since I had family in San Fransisco for 40 years and my father is buried there. I was not driving British cars at that time, before and now yes, but not then so I never looked up the Morgan folks that I had heard so much about.
He led a good life.
