Meanwhile... I had to quickly treat the leather to avoid stains because of the water.

I know how to fix the latter two, but somehow, it doesn't seem important enough, even though I have the neoprene....

Since lightly applying lanolin to the screen header rail there is no leak and now, with new wipers, I can see out!!!!

I use a Wurth Gummi pflege stick once or twice a year on my rubber seals - it was the top choice of Avantime owners to seal the windows on our 1m long doors :-)

Williams had a look at my door seals; the factory recommendation is apparently an insert inside the existing seal, which help it keep its profile. While that's reduced my sill leakage, it's still there. I've some B profile rubber tubing left over from sorting out the hard top's rattle. I reckon it's worth trying a line of it along the sills to see if I can improve the seal with the door.

I have the feeling that, in my car, water is coming in obviously from the junction of the two roofs and then probably (but this is just an educated guess) somewhere in the windscreen area. And yes, I am as well a big fan of the Wurth Gummi pflege stick.

That is one very swish interior Ale, makes my old +8 Trad look positively vintage smile

Perhaps the phrase "it corners like it is on rails" is a colloquialism..? If so by way of explanation, it generally refers to a machine that handles cornering very well, and in the context of the pic in question, the backdrop being a railway tank unit, the comment seem`d worth making for a bit of fun... Perhaps not..? smile

Ale, I am surprised not to have been kicked off this forum given the number of pics I have posted... If interested you could find many in the Galleries section of this forum.

This is a link to one such group of pics I posted.
