Dual purpose vehicles seem to be a recipe for disaster, if not physical then financial. Combining a car and boat is bad enough requiring compromises for each role its intended to provide but a flying car escalates these to a dramatically higher level. Such vehicles have been tried many times over the years and at best only had very limited success.

It's not the vehicle that's the problem ,it's the fact the driver would have to be a qualified pilot. As you know all the regulations that go with it.
