His vaccine worked too  When we learnt where all that horrible fish/meat paste came from.. I see where you're going with that, but the fish paste was Shippams. Indeed it was. Those of us who worked in Chichester needed no reminding of where the paste came from on that one day a week they were boiling up the bloaters. I sold them some pumps in the 80s I still remember the smell, though it hung around on clothes far less less than that from Hull Fish Meal.

Worcestershire Sauce is wonderful. A dash on poached eggs is unbeatable and a healthy splash in a stew is sublime.
Did you know that you can buy it in 5litre containers - my Dad (age 90) makes the most magical pickled onions by using Worcestershire Sauce instead of vinegar.
