the front tires are Avon 4.00H19. on the side of the tire it shows max pressure 41 PSI cold but the sticker on my M3W shows 22 PSI. what pressure is everyone else running? my rear tire is a Bridgestone EP25 and i can see signs of it rubbing on the belt. I think it happens in reverse because i only hear rubbing noise when in reverse. The M3W only show 3K miles and I was told they are the original tires. I would attach a photo of the tire but I am new and still need to figure how to attach a photo.

Belt rubbing on tire is not good. Is belt running in the center of the rear sprocket? What is your belt tension?

I will get a better look in the morning but the rear sprocket has a stop or lip on both sides to prevent the belt from going to far left or right. but just parked there is not a lot of room between the belt and the tire. I have a belt tension tool that I use on my Harley, will see how it works on the morgan

For European CE compliance tyres have to be dated, you can find this on the sidewall (sometimes on the inner face) usually moulded with a DOT mark (Dept of Transport)
It's a four number code eg, 3817 is week 38 of 2017, so you can date your tyres (tires) on your Mog

If you can check the belt of a Harley... you can check is the wheel correct fitted. I mean is in straight in? At the the Harley there are measure points left and right at the wing for measure the distance to the axle. And: there are good ideas to localize the problems in the Harley manual. René May be this would help. https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson.com/sip/

Obviously the Harley swing axles has adjustment nuts for correct tension and centring the wheel, there are plenty pf video's on line for Harley rear wheels and belt removal/replacement to view. For checking that a Harley Kevlar belt is correctly tensioned you use one of these tools, whether they are also appropriate for M3W I'm not sure regards

If you would rather learn how to align the rear wheel and set the drive belt tension on a M3W than a Harley, the information is in Phil Bleazeys excellent series of M3W workshop videos : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1drQUxxwHWU&t=11s If you would rather read about how to do this then the M3W specific information is freely available here https://www.mtwc.co.uk/news-post/ If the rear wheel adjustment is so far out that the belt is rubbing on the tyre, I would fix this as a priority. If the tyre sidewall is damaged it could cause a rear wheel blow out and you really don't want that to happen. Any 3 Wheeler with a deflated rear wheel is far less controllable than a 4 wheel car, many people use a puncture preventative fluid in the rear tyre to reduce the chances of this happening. It is not a side of the road job to fix a rear wheel puncture either. There should be about 3 - 6mm gap between the belt and the tyre sidewall under all conditions of drive.

here is a photo of the rear tire. Not sure what caused the small white marks. Is this the same as what folks call belt rub on the tire? ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/11/05/tire.jpg) and thanks for all the help. my tire code is 1716 so its a 2016 tire. I do have the belt tension tool but where to measure the tension and what is the normal movement or play in the belt. Today I will remove the cover that goes over the tire and see how much room is between the tire and belt and roll the bike forward and backward.
