Have a look at Lamborghini... it‘s also a Volkswagen.

Bad taste to all people. A car for pennycounters. With 30years driving Volkswagen I saved some money to buy the MOG ;-)

There have been some nice Skoda but this is not their best offering. Porsche is the section of VAG that is keeping the group afloat with their big buses for families.

I'm not a fan of the pointy Lambo's at all I like something more Latin like a Morgan Plus 8 with plenty of curves.

last year I made a good deal. Changing my 80.000Km and 5 year POLO for a good price against the new VW T-Cross.

If you look at the same thing of the SEAT or the SKODA range, all the same.

I'm a big fan of VW and we have always had at least two on the family fleet up until a couple of years ago, the Polo GTI at 192bhp of Heathers is a cracking car that handles well and covers the ground very quickly I love borrowing it.

I realise the Skoda, Seat, Audi tie up but have always preferred the residual values of the VW and the finished article is more pleasing to my eye and Heathers, I don't see the extra value of the Audi it's a bit of a snob thing over here tbh.

if I were driving something from the vw group, it would be a Skoda. But not this housewife convertible with the camel humps that starts this thread.

Good for Skoda for having a student program like this! I'd imagine a few UK students could help out some of our domestic manufacturers. A 4-door Defender 90 anyone? A Qashqai pick-up? A Rolls or Bentley SUV that looks nice? etc etc

Yes it's always good to see a company investing in their engineering staff, maybe they also needed a little guidance on this one as to what is marketable.

A folded paper designed soft top. Don't like at all but that won't worry VAG. If they put it into production they will sell enough for it to wipe it's face.

Much maligned and joked about cars. Lived in Hungary in the mid 80s, had the Morgan with me for the summers, but in the winter the only car to drive was a Skoda 105. Lot of snow and minus 15C. Always started and you could smash your way through snowdrifts.
