Similarly the Allon White hood conversion of trad hoods - very quick and easy to raise and lower.

We had the AW conversion on our 1985 4/4. It was very quick and easy but the factory easy-up is both quicker and easier to live with on a touring holiday - the catches on the rear of the hood that held it down were inaccessible with a full holiday load.
