I suppose I ought to update the thread!
One year and about 3k miles later, I am still smitten with this thing. It had a major service, including cambelt, and I had the head gasket done as the coolant was doing peculiar things. It's raw, lively, and everything I hoped for when I bought it.
But... I am doing far fewer miles for work now, and am daydreaming about swapping my boring daily driver BMW, and my Elise, and combining their roles with an Evora. Maybe.
Never be the same. Sadly Lotus never produced the open Evora they said they would
