Wow, we are pretty bad too, they base the values on high blue book, regardless of condition. Leeches all!

That's a new one on me Giles - I only have experience in the engineering world where one claims back the VAT paid at purchase and charges the full amount on the subsequent sale, then paying the difference to the VAT man. Thanks for bringing me up to speed - I had no idea.

I imagine the HIGH plus 8 was one of the ones which had a corvette engine, not the standard land rover.... But it is part of the cost of having a relatively rare vehicle.

Phil, the one for sale in Deeside has been on the market for a long time so the dealer may be open to negotiation?
I would imagine that lots of Morgans that are on dealers' forecourts are sold on a commission basis or sale or return. Worth enquiring?

An oddity with the car on Autotrader is that it appears to have the MMC central screen support fitted with Fairbourne style 'wide & tall' screens.

Nothing wrong with that of course!

Had a rather poor report on that one yesterday which is a shame as the price is nearer to what I can afford.

No negotiation available on the Deeside one so that is out too.

Patience is a virtue - so I am told - so ill just make a flute or two while waiting for something to come up.

toot toot.

Thanks Nick, I guess £25,000 for a suitable one - ie. one with as little as possible done to the vehicle since new in 2012/2013. Otherwise straight and clean ( unlike mine! ). Yes I intend to do a blow by blow video account of the whole process - I am really looking forward to this new way of working.
