I got the impression they said it was cast iron as well, must weigh a ton !

The bodies where originally made by a sub contractor but were brought back in house a couple of years ago for financial reasons.

Those moulds certainly look like cast iron, having seen them up close.

Can just make out on the side of the boot mould 1168KG, wouldn't want it to fall of the trestles!
