I got exhibition insurance from my carrier. A couple of caveats. Less than 5,000 miles a year and must be garaged. Only costs $ 285 a year. Quite a deal. Who is your carrier?

I too would recommend going with a 2014+ model. I have insurance through Grundy.

I found that Hagerty would not insure (I think they did earlier). We have Grundy for our plus 8, but I have my M3W on my motorcycle policies with progressive

Grundy is the best option to insure M3W in the US, hands down.
Go with a 2014+ car and make sure you can secure your financing, as I believe that can be a bit challenging for a 3-wheeler.

One point to remember with any insurance company you go with is to ensure it is an agreed value policy, otherwise in the event of the worst case you could end up with considerably less than you paid. My Morgans are insured through Hagerty, one of the advantages was when I blew the engine on the M3W they paid for the new one as the policy covered parts and the premium didn't go up.

I'd suggest one built 2014 or later so that the welded in bracing is on the chassis rather than the add on bolted brace. If you go for a Brooklands then budget for some stainless welding on the exhausts by someone who knows what they are doing or a set of after market pipes. Of course if I was selling mine I would recommend an early right hand drive car on its 3rd chassis and at least 40000 miles in red with some developing patina...
