Hi, after reading about all the faults of the years, most, if not all have been sorted. I would go for the one you like the most, or, if an earlier car, the one with most upgrades. As a self confessed mechanic, minor upgrades or mods you should be able to carry out yourself, just to make it yours.

I'd suggest one built 2014 or later so that the welded in bracing is on the chassis rather than the add on bolted brace. If you go for a Brooklands then budget for some stainless welding on the exhausts by someone who knows what they are doing or a set of after market pipes. Of course if I was selling mine I would recommend an early right hand drive car on its 3rd chassis and at least 40000 miles in red with some developing patina...  Penguins, please do not forget penquins.... although Cumberbatch cannot pronounce the word

As a self confessed mechanic, minor upgrades or mods you should be able to carry out yourself, just to make it yours. Avoid the risk of a breaking chassis of early production cars. A self confessed mechanic may be overwhelmed with such problem.

But then Kent Young would have a Pembleton, not a Morgan, which is what he is looking for. He probably doesn't want a Porsche either, although some think it's a better car.
