I like those speedster wheels.

They ever so slightly remind me of the Dunlop wheels fitted to D types.

One thing I have noticed is that on most Morgans the rear wheel doesn’t fit properly in the arch.

The pic of Tarka here is a great example of this. Needs lowering.

I’ve only ever seen the absolute perfect fit on the S1.

Even the Trads are wrong. Every one I’ve owned I’ve fitted the lowering centring blocks. Helps but still not right

And here is the car with Speedster wheels fitted....
Just bout ready to go out and see if the Michelin Cross Climate + tyres on 18" rims make any discernible difference to the ride: I'm sure there will be more grip, the road temperature this morning was 4C.

I am very surprised that simply changing the wheels changes the "look" of the car.... I think it looks more traditional, less modern.

I'm sure it'll change it again when you put the silver centre caps in..... Or maybe the silver spinners as on the D types?

Black centre caps on order... £6.99 for 4. I've ordered Silver "Morgan Logo" ones from MMC, but I'm not expecting them any time soon!

A very interesting observation from a "test drive": since I've had the car I've avoided driving on damp roads as the airflow over the back of the car causes moisture to be thrown up into the cockpit, including the inside of the windscreen. and the rear pannel is always filthy. Not today! Despite driving through puddles and other sources of water on the road there is no moisture on the rear panel or inside the cockpit. I had wondered if the spoker AeroMax wheels acted like fans, sucking water up and out. It seems this might be true. I need to find some really wet roads.

Otherwise the car drives normally, possibly slightly softer ride, but there is more steering feel.
The tyres are VERY quiet, road noise is reduced.
