This happens everywhere. The Pembleton community seem to want nothing to do with the company's new turnkey vehicles or their owners, who they characterise as rich kids who just want to take their Pembletons out for weekend pottering. If it has not been self-built for £3000, they are not interested.

Once again Pete Larson has designed a three wheeler which is stunning to the eye & I bet breathtaking to drive.

Good on you Pete.

Even after getting to know Pete Larsen a bit over these recent years I learned new details reading this interview; that he ever spoke openly about before. I'll also guess that MTWC leaders were not unanimous in their willingness to publish such a transparent account in their Bulletin. The part about Pete's reaction to the Geneva M3W's front frame geometry is especially illuminating on MMC's process.

Now that would make a slogan for MMC's next marketing campaign!

Is the Golden Rule really this dead?

I wonder if this is why MMC legally dissolved the Morgan 3 Wheeler Ltd entity via a voluntary strike off July 2019... "Sorry Sir, Morgan 3 Wheeler Ltd no longer exits to help with your..."

Confucius said that there are three ways to gain knowledge...
- Through contemplation, which is the most noble [read this forum, and all other M3W resources]
- Through imitation, which is the easiest. [a special thank you to Phil on your efforts and repair videos; others too]
- Through experience, which is the most bitter. [I definitely learned a powerful lesson during my own M3W ownership, and I'll not choose to make those same decisions again.]

When I was dealing with MMC, after their Centa upgrade kit caused a catastrophic rear main seal failure, I always hoped that MMC would care more than legally required and/or owners wouldn't accept the shortcomings as "part of the experience" (Stockholm Syndrome?)

This all said, I'm very grateful for being able to enjoy the very unique 'V-Twin Three Wheeler' experience, for introducing me to a new group of enthusiasts, and for constantly gaining knowledge.

Surely, if he was that unhappy with the process he could have said 'No' at any time until the final contract had been signed?

There's always two sides to a story and dispite PL's fantastic engineering skills the Ace's still look like a car made in a man's garage, refraining from using kit car, as some are far better looking than any Ace and it took Morgan's designer to truly come up with IMO a fabulous looking 3 Wheeler but without PL and Morgan we would never of had the pleasure/pain of owning one of the most iconic motor vehicles of all time. I for one am grateful for the collaboration and can't wait for my new one smile

I don't think the Genie goes easily back into the bottle so easily.

Alex Roy once said of the M3W, "a wonderful idea, terribly executed"

I'll use the word 'disappointed' for MMC's choices.

Then again, this is all the past and here's a reminder of what the future looks like...

That's reasonable ....
But one might have expected a bit more honour in the process and some integrity in the re-engineering

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I'd need several pints to get inside that...Sorry.
