the Ace's still look like a car made in a man's garage I'd happily compare any weld on my ACE#10 to the best weld on any M3W, but then again breaking welds seems to be an accepted 'part of the experience' for M3W owners. far better looking than any Ace While I owned both, I took them to a few shows and it was the rare individual that preferred the Morgan's looks. Yes, the M3W was definitely popular at the dance, until the ACE showed up. The original ACE weighs much less and has more power too, but this is a Morgan forum so I'm not surprised... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/09/08/IMG_8115E.jpg) Hopefully the popularity of the ACE won't grow to building 2500 of them as the waiting time will be around 400 years or the production line will have to change exponentially with all the inherent problems that will bring.

The original ACE weighs much less and has more power too, but this is a Morgan forum so I'm not surprised.. I wouldn't say I was 'Morgan blinkered' - I've been equally vocal about the poor styling of the original Aero (although I think the Max is a work of absolute beauty) Looking at the M3W next to the Ace, I don't think the Ace can hold a candle to the M3W styling. Although I'm not decrying the blokes obvious engineering skill and ability, the Ace looks like some kind of garden shed abortion compared to the M3W.

There's no doubting PL engineering skills, same as there's no doubting the issues with the M3W. The Ace on a visual basis is a Triking with a Harley engine instead of a Moto Guzzi. Which is no bad thing. To my eye something just isn't right with them, again in my head. Same goes for the new Ace, suppose it all comes down to proportions, angles and of course personal choice. It's a shame that PL can't or doesn't want to up production numbers of the Ace, it would be interesting to see if each and every vehicle is perfectly engineered. My brother builds Ford hot rods for a living and is very highly regarded in that scene but he ain't no Henry Ford.

That agreement concerns the original Harley V-twin Ace. The MMC has no say in how many of the new flat-six machines Pete Larsen can produce. That is entirely his decision.

There's always two sides to a story and dispite PL's fantastic engineering skills the Ace's still look like a car made in a man's garage, refraining from using kit car, as some are far better looking than any Ace and it took Morgan's designer to truly come up with IMO a fabulous looking 3 Wheeler but without PL and Morgan we would never of had the pleasure/pain of owning one of the most iconic motor vehicles of all time. I for one am grateful for the collaboration and can't wait for my new one  +1 Peter and it's interesting that the tone of most responses in this thread is to vilify MMC without hearing their side of the story. At the end of the day my understanding is that Pete Larsen sold the ACE IP and future production rights to MMC and it's then really up to them what they did from then on. The result has been over 2,500 M3Ws and a fantastic worldwide community. After 7 years and 35,000 miles in my first M3W, I too am looking forward to my new one
