Good news if the grapevine is to be believed that Perez will sign for Red Bull for 2021 and they'll drop Albon,
I feel a little sorry for the later but he has had a good chance to shine but not quite brightly enough.

That would indeed be good news but where did you hear that?
It's been one of the F1 speculations but I've not seen anything concrete yet.

Ted Kravitz should indeed be in the know as he is the one of the main Sky reporters who actually gets to talk to the teams.
But I'm surprised that he has divulged such a secret before it is announced officially by Red Bull.
Might get his wrist slapped for that.
However, if it is confirmed, it will make a good line up for RB and might push Mercedes next year.

Here is a link to the item as posted on FB. I agree a bit naughty, he'll look pretty stupid if it doesn't come to fruition.. Yes that would be a great line up for the team and will push Mercedes even stronger which Lewis will welcome I would say.

Quite clever, really - he hasn't said it is a done deal - he merely speculates that it will be announced by Red Bull!!

Especially if they can hold onto Albon as well, I think Christian is certainly being clever I'm not sure he will be overjoyed with this article though and Gravitz may find the information drying up now from RB.

Sorry boys, not a great fan of Perez .I think there is a lot of better talented drivers out there. he is another of the bought drivers, yes he's one one, but the race turned into a farce .

Sorry boys, not a great fan of Perez .I think there is a lot of better talented drivers out there. he is another of the bought drivers, yes he's one one, but the race turned into a farce . It's true that Perez brings sponsorship - but he's a long long way from being just another pay driver; he competes for his seat on speed & results, and outperforms the car. 125 points this year vs pay driver Stroll's 75 tells you all you need to know. The cash Perez brings is a bonus. Perez has developed a remarkable ability to make tyres last, which gives him strategy options that teammates don't have. He also stepped in to make sure Force India didn't implode, for which I'm sure many colleagues will thank him. Sergio would likely make the ideal teammate for Max - ultimately not as quick (by hundredths, rather than Albon's tenths) but able to qualify at the front, pressure rivals strategies, and bring the car home. Red Bull won't win a championship with Albon (yet; Albon is not the finished article). They might compete for a championship with Max & Sergio driving. Will

He also has a very well tuned race craft and is much more able to drive tactically. Max doesn't need a team mate to push him, he's already super motivated but Sergio is fast and will give Red Bull far more strategic options to try to mess Mercedes race strategy up a bit. I do hope the rumours are true.
