Hi, I´m Mark, 54yrs old and live in Neuenkirchen, Germany - nr the Dutch Boarder. A few weeks ago I´ve bought my first Morgan, a 4/4 4str, C6454 built in 1983 (1600 chv Ford engine). She´s in need for a new chassis (4-6 month manufacturing time  ), stripping has started. Occasionally I´ll give an update about my progress - at this moment first trip is scheduled for mid of next year! Welcome Mark from another 4/4 four seater owner ..... that's quite a wait for the chassis..... however, it gives you time to repair/refurbish all the rest of it ..... by the time it comes you can have a nice pile of clean, straight and shiny bits to bolt back on .... very satisfying .... take plenty of pics from every angle of the strip down as it's surprising what you forget in just a few weeks ... keep us up to date on how you're doing and post pics if you can.

Welcome Mark. All these 4 seaters popping up here and I'm tempted to look for a '70s model  Have great fun with your car - you will know all of it thoroughly by the time it is on the road. Look forward to more photos as the rebuild progresses

Just noticed the fuel tank sat on the ground .... so you've made a start already Looks to be in decent condition from the bit we can see ... I was amazed how good and solid my tank was considering where it had been for the last 50 odd years! K

Hallo aus Mainz,
„schon wieder“ ein Viersitzer. Hier in Mainz gibt es zwei LHD, einen davon kenne ich den Besitzer, einen zweiten kenne ich im südlichen Rheinland-Pfalz...
Nur mit den Zweisitzern sieht es schwierig aus (bis auf einen Nachbarn, der zwei hat).
Viel Spaß beim Restaurieren und ich hoffe zuvor beim ausgiebig Probefahren.

another fourseater. In my hometown Mainz are two LHD, and I know one owner and had a talk to him. And there is a third one in the south of Rheinland-Pfalz.
Only the twoseaters, it looks like there isn‘t one in the area. Only a neighbor has two Mogs.
Enjoy the work and I think you had a good testride.
