Hmmmmm. From September 2021 will stick on plates on the front of the wing be legal? The new standard to be introduced from that date will be interesting. The stick on’s has been a debatable point for some time, even with reflective versions. Will moving the plate from the factory position to the wing be a problem?

Personally, I think a silver and black plate on anything post 1975 looks awful

I agree but add that the reverse is also true for me on vehicles that started life with black/silver plates. One exception being my yellow 1971 Escort Sport. Couldn't wait to fit these new fangled reflective plates to that when they appeared a couple of years later

The suffix up to long doors. Personal plates not so easy.
There may be tighter enforcement after the changes next year. It's easy money.
