I found these comments on one of the Morgan Pages on Facebook today, made to a new owner seeking info service agents near Shropshire, rather pathetic.---

[color:#000099 " ]I'd be very wary of TalkMorgan. They seem to have this infatuation with greasing the front suspension.

Most of the technical advice on that forum is questionable in the extreme and is often a regurgitation of something the poster read somewhere in ages past.

When somebody passes on technical information, it seems to get drowned out amongst meaningless barbel." [/color]

" I too share #######'s view of TalkMorgan; there is much repeated nonsense quoted there particularly regarding front suspension.

It's probably a useful resource for owners of recent three-wheelers but less so in my opinion for traditional steel ladder chassised Morgans " .

I personally have found the technical information found here to be extremely useful - Frank

Have I already told you that I'll be greasing the front axle in my son's hobby workshop this evening? I'll be happy to report details, e.g. how often it seems necessary, what needs to be observed, etc. I have the impression that this important topic is given far too little attention on Talk Morgan. The people who talk trash on facebook don't even know what a kingpin is.

This is all a bit playground - he said/she said etc.

Have recieved very good help and advice here on TM

Have also received some very good help and advice on Morgan FB groups, There are some very knowledgable experts who, for whatever reason, don't use TM much. For example, Billy Bellinger provided me with some excellent help and advice on my rear axle via FB groups.

If there’s an infatuation, it’s to do with fish puns.
