Hi Chaps

Flat bat ?

Havent driver the mog for probably 6-7 weeks but thought i would fire it over today for a warm up
This is what I got

Ignition lights all seem strong. Makes the same noise as before when turning on but when turning again I get the rapid clicking noise

Enough juice to turn on the system, not enough to turn over the engine ??

Ta peeps

EDIT - when I first turned it on I noticed I had left the fan on from the last drive. This was blowing strongly. Could it be a sticky starter motor ??

Sounds very much like it!
Enough voltage, but not enough power.
On charge overnight, followed by a good run should do it!

Rapid clicking is the solenoid tripping in and out, so put some charge in and it will be OK hopefully.

I am no expert, but my hubby puts his Morgan on a smart charger (trickle charge) when it’s going to be sitting in the garage for any more than one week. I think he got this out of a book that a mechanic had written. The mechanic said the battery is constantly being drained by the immobiliser. So in your case... if the fan was left on and blowing that’s not good either. If I was you I would start with simplest solution and charge your battery.

Good luck

There are some neat little Solar Charger packages around out there now which might suit you.

I never thought of that, Rich. Could be an idea.
Anyone got any specific links ? are they purely for charging cars or general low voltage power ?

Cars and boats area and if you have a window in your garage some come with suction cups so you can keep everything internal.
Just about to have dinner but I'll look around for some links later.
