I always got along with good H4 light in earlier years. The new problem, in my opinion, is that many new cars with LED light are so bright...even if their headlights are adjusted correctly, I can't see the road in front of my Morgan without LED light on board.

This may be a stupid idea...

You want to see, you want to be seen and you want to classic as well?. To be seen and retain classic look: DRL wing sidelights with a bright LED fitted. To see and stay classic: one or more of the options I have listed above. To see and a little less classic: dedicated LED headlamp unit. Your choice. Angel eyes (as DRLs, obviously) if you can get some that fits in, but would not have been my aestethical preference. Still, it is your privilege to personalize the car as you wish.
I see you are relatively new on the forum, perhaps also to Morgan cars? If so, take your time, get to know the car well, join a club, see what other morganeers prefer and avoid, learn what aftermarket stuff there is out there, who are the good retailers. If you already are a seasoned morganeer, I apologize for being somewhat paternalistic.....

Good point there Heinz, I sometimes feel I'm screwing up my eyes to compensate for the oncoming bright headlights, If a high 4x4 is following that also causes rear view mirror blindness

I have some Angel eyes to fit. Right now I have LED side light bulbs & LED H4 bulbs from Classic Car LEDS. Duncan is very helpful

I was at Allon White today (annual service and MOT) and asked what they recommend. The answer was - Osram Nightbreaker bulb upgrade.

I am still undecided about what I will do.

The low driving position of the Morgan makes one is easier bothered by bright lights from oncomming cars.
Further the lights on the other car(s) we drive are much better, so we get spoiled.
Finally, we are an old bunch, and our sensoric skills do not improve.

Which Nightbreaker version is recommended by Allon White? While googling I saw by chance that Osram now has a LED nightbreaker version for the German market, which has a legal approval for the first time!
Not for all car models (no Morgan as exotic in the list). But I would feel more on the safe side and one could keep the nice classic look.

https://www.osram.de/ecat/NIGHT%20BREAKER%20H7-LED-LED%20Lampen%20für%20Abblendlicht-Autobeleuchtung-Automotive/de/de/GPS01_3401765/PP_EUROPE_DE_eCat/ZMP_4062000/

There is also an English site (right above the small globe) but I have just looked for the German market.

That wasn’t specified. Just had a look online at the versions available - a lot more confusing than when they were covered on TM a couple of years ago.

Remember the Osrams have a much reduced life compared to standard H4 bulbs.

I know and my son has experienced it with his MX5 NA more than once. Therefore I thought this new LED Nightbreakers could be interesting.
