I've got some all season Kleber tyres with the 3 mountain peak snowflake symbol fitted to my van and a more perfect device to collect stones would be hard to come up with!
Do you have this issue with your tyre LightSpeed?

Do you have this issue with your tyre LightSpeed? I don’t drive off road much but it picks up pebbles about the same rate as the oem tire. However, it does have way more traction. If i did not have a tray in the boot it would be of more concern but since traction is what the goal is then i found it. It is more squishy because it is a soft rubber compound and if i was racing it would not be my first choice of tire.

Finally got the time to fit my G56 exhausts this week, and now I wish I had done it sooner. As soon as I started the car and heard them, I couldn't stop smiling. Just love the new exhaust note, so much deeper and softer at idle, and a lovely bass snarl when you press the loud pedal. The way the throttle responds is much more satisfying too. Happy. Looks good. Any issues with install or did they go in very easily? It is an easy install, if time consuming, as you have to pull the cockpit apart. Hardest part was pulling the old exhaust off. Strap wrenches are your friend. I took the opportunity to clean and condition all the leather pieces while I had them out.

The braces for the rear mount suggested by someone recently are a good idea for the G56 exhausts to limit flexing of the bodywork and popping of rivets.
The G56 exhausts do sound great!

Most but not all, M3W's have a plate on the inner skin, where the exhaust brackets bolt through. If there is no load spreading aluminium plate on the inside of the car it's a good idea to fit one as the G56 system is heavier than the standard system. Check the rivets along the lower edge of the skin occasionally as the heads are prone to shearing off. This can happen with any exhaust system fitted but is maybe slightly more of a problem with the G56 fitted. The rivets can be easily replaced. My 2012 car fitted with G56 exhausts had separate (quite small) reinforcing plates behind each exhaust bracket and I had noticed significant 'panel-wobble' when the engine was running. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/06/01/Side-Panel-Reinforcement-1bff8185f2e2ef6d4.jpg) These plates were 18cm wide and 13cm high. Therefore, one of my lockdown projects was to reinforce the side panels. I just stuck the new panel over the existing plates. It has certainly stiffened up the panels no end and the bodywork no longer flexes with the exhaust bracket movement.
