Hi,
I wish you all a Happy New Year!
Christmas season has allowed to continue stripping of C6454:
It has been quite a straightforward task, nevertheless the term "screwing" has got a new meaning: Never seen before so many bolts and nuts fixed to a car....

I hope to lift off the bodywork within the next days.
Talk to you soon....

Well done Mark - quite a bit of progress in almost no time. Although our cars are almost identical and only 164 chassis numbers apart - there are several differences on the engine. Would you mind sharing a few more detailed pictures from the carburetor side of the car and the PCV system?

And I don't recognize the grey round part on the bulkhead (passenger side). Do you know what this is for?

BTW: If you want to overhaul the engine: AutoColor Heinen in Solingen is a good address for this. For Ford T9 gearboxes Frank Severin of ClassicGearGarage (close to the Nürburgring) is great.

Regards
Tim

Thanks!
Tim: The grey part is just a demounted flex hose, which connects the inner wing pipe to the air-inlet housing.
Cheers, Mark
