Billy is doing a great job and an asset to the team but I think he is committed to a racing schedule and does occasional appearances.
When they signed off from the last race they were saying you will see Mark again next year in a different role is what I'm basing my thinking on, we'll see.

I thought they had already announced Alex Jakes (apologies re spelling). To be fair he’s done a pretty good job covering F2 and F3 for many years. Alex Brundle was excellent in a support role for him last season on several races...

HB You are spot on just searched and this turned up. I've never heard of him but that doesn't mean a a thing  I wonder what Mark Weber will be up to this year, I like him he's so grounded and very knowledgeable.

True, my late MIL bless her was an avid Wimbledon attendee and latterly tv viewer and her answer was to watch it on the box with it on mute and tune into a radio program covering the same match but with a little more coherent delivery. This was the go-to for watching test cricket. TV for vision and Radio for commentary. The diversions in commentary were absolutely brilliant. Cake? The discussions about the cakes listeners sent in were awesome. The double entendres that got “Johnners” corpsing are classics. Bumble is the current top man. Both knowledgable as an ex test cricketer and wacky.
