Cheers Brian...That explains one thing.

George, good point re the vaseline...I'll try that one (oooh nurse)

I've taken the door panel off to reveal the motor, there is no noise so doesn't sound like the motor is trying at all.

I placed a voltmeter (complicated thing...too many symbols on it) and something happens to the screen on the meter when I push the lecky switch but I'm really not sure what its telling me.

The air con mods to my car were paid for by the supplying dealer so I dont know what the costs were. They were done in two stages, first the wiring mod which was done in my garage by the Morgan dealers tech and took about an hour. This did not fix the issue and so It then had to go to my local Morgan dealer to have the control module replaced and this involved the removal of the bonnet, cowl and of one of the front wings I was told and whilst this sounds costly, it really doesnt take long - I've just done it myself to service the car. Dont know what the parts cost was though! By the way my a/c light did not come on before this work was done. If yours lights up it might well be a different issue.

Got the bonnet louvres too!

Good luck getting it sorted out.

These are a bit like hens teeth Lee, but I'm pretty sure I have a spare one that I should be able to find (we've moved house since) when we are back in the UK.

I'll let you know!

Viper I'd watch it Aeroman will getting one knocked up for you by his Nigerian watch supplier. hide

The car look mint seems a shame that it wasn't used, but then that's to your benefit.

Enjoy

Congratulations Lee; she looks as good as she was described - I think you've had a stroke of luck with this S1 thumbs

Hope you have many happy miles behind the wheel and I am in no doubt that the bucket, sponges, clothes and various pots of magic wash, wax and polish will be out today in the Viper house laugh2
