Helo and welcome to TM Olivier, the stupid questions are the ones we might be too afraid to ask, and I make a habit of asking those.. Not only do you have nice weather and wonderful roads around your area, you now have another wonderful car in which to enjoy it all... My good lady and I pent the night in a B&B we found via the Logise guide book, it was located up in the hills behind Nice when we were touring in our +8 on our way down to Sorrento. Also flew into Nice and hired a car to drive to holiday accommodation in Triora, lots of interesting mountain roads encountered on that journey too. No doubt you find your Morgan to be a very different beast compared to your Lotus, it will be interesting to read whatever comparisons you care to share... ENJOY...

I actually collected my Lotus in Wales, and drove it back to Nice, that was a great experience.
The Morgan came from Germany through a Frenchcar importer and was finally delivered to me in St Tropez, so the maiden drive was Fantastic, from St Tropez to Nice along the see.
I have been hoping to own a morgan since I was 7, I am getting married in July, and my future wife, on her side always wanted to be married in a Morgan, so it was now or never.
I found the one I was looking for V6, black wheels and brown interior, decent price, so I couldn't resist...
I am very happy, and my first impression in driving it are that it is definitely another animal compare to anything I have driven before, even compare to the Lotus S1 with no assistance...
It starts with the driving position, you can try mocving the seat, adjusting the back and the whell, you have to adjust to the car! Feet position as well is tricky, with a very high clutch, a high brake pedal and a low gaz pedal, I will loo at it to see if this can be somehow adjusted too.
For the rest, topd down, without side screens, you feel like piloting an old plane, its amazing.
I was impressed by the car, its proportions, the feeeling of the handling with the front wheels far far away, en then then super scary engine, and its sound above 3000rpm, also due to a sport exhaust mounted on th car.
People on the side of the roads are also very enthousiast, but this car makes you very humble when behind the wheel, you really feel it will ask time before you can think of driving it in a sporty manner.
I have since taken it to small mountains roads on the hills, with huge turns and unregular ground, you can feel every imprefection of the road, and feel that the chassis was probably not ingineered for 280 BHP.
But one thing is sure, you can't help smiling when you are anywhere in sight of the car: driving, washing, or working on it, and I am very happy my wife shares the same feeling, which was not really the cas with the Lotus.
I love it, and am starting to think about what I will do "finish" it.
I will share in more details, but it will start with a valance, and other minor changes.

Oliver if your car is earlier than 2014 (i.e. 3l not 3.7l) Wolf Performance do a set of adjustable pedals In 2014 the pedal arms were no longer bolted to the pedal blades but welded so the bolt on pedals don't work. If after 2014 (and I am guessing with 280 bhp yours is) I am working with Cain at Wolf on an adjustable throttle pedal to raise the height closer to the brake which should be available soon. I am a happy customer of Wolf but as always caveat emptor. WolfHope that helps Here is my earlier thread on the pedals Pedal thread
