Applecross is truly amazing, but spoiled by the huge numbers doing the route in vehicles which are unsuitable for the narrow roads. I bet very early morning midsummer would be utterly awesome.

These are lovely. My wife loves a jigsaw and has a few made from her pictures, I watch in awe just exhausted at the thought of doing one.

I got one for my birthday last year of my S1 Roadster. Yes it's a lovely place to visit right up there with Connors Pass, Surprise View, Dutoits Kloof and the Hex River Passes.
They have a way of etching their way into your brain.
