I am looking for an alternative set of wheels to chrome wires for next Winter. Am enjoying driving my 1996 4/4 in the mud and rain but am not enjoying the upkeep of them! I am a newbie and am struggling to find the correct part number/suitable alternative …. Would prefer a set of steels rather than wires…. Any suggestions Thank you

Changing to steel disc wheels will be more hassle than its worth as you will need to change the hubs.

Would this be a possibility? https://www.sportsandclassics.com/p...-minilite-knockoff-rallye-wheel-15-inch/I googled "morgan alloy wheels knocc-off spinners" and that was what came up (among others). I think somebody here recommendedd all-year tyres. I beg to differ. These tyres has been widely tested where I live, and they are certainly not recommended, almost disappeared from the market .Mediocre in summer, mediocre in winter. I do recognize that winters in Norway are different than in the UK, but with the climate changes the differences are not that large anymore, at least in the south. So my choice would be a set of dedicated winter tyres on alloy rims. Not wires, as they are a hassle to keep clean.

Thanks Robbie, I am ok with tyres thanks its an alternative to chrome wire wheels that I am after. I mentioned Winter because there is a lot more mud & general wet around to mess with the chrome. I will check out your link though, cheers
