For the 10% that have realised that fun does not have to mean fast all the time.

Sort of good PR for Morgan.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

EVO tester is 100% correct about lack of front-end feel to the steering. It is poor for a modern car - see my earlier post in this forum section - 'Where is the Lotus magic?'

It would be nice to think Morgan will improve it but I won't be holding my breath

Shocker. Morgan set up a car with a stiff front end and soft rear to compensate, and end up with the two ends feeling like they're from separate cars.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if http://www.suspensionsupplies.co.uk/ produced a fix for the Plus Four, as they've already done for other 4-wheeled Morgans.

I've SSL's setup on my Aero, and it works for me, and for my regular passenger, who's glad to be rid of the rubbish ride over rough surfaces.

Pity that the ex lotus team design of the chassis didn't result in improvement in handling as the car aint cheap ! Not sure wether the other cars have their traction control switched off on the test though .

Going back to the crashed Plus 6 topic, my suspicion would be that it has exactly the same difficulties of control that the above report describes.Hair trigger on the limit responses rather than a controllable slide.

The plus side is that this sort of behaviour is something that a decent race tune type garage shoiuld be able to sort out. The basics are all there - its just the final development that is needed.

Couldn't agree more. Plus of course an auto box that kicks down when exiting a bend under strong throttle will always upset things. In many cases a manual can be much safer (as well as much more fun and involving), which is why the demand for a manual in the PlusSix will inevitably grow.
