Hi together, I own a Plus Six since May and drove 5000 km since then. My main concerns are with the brakes, the pedal way til they work properly is far too long, I really hope that there will come a rework from Morgan. Beside of that, I have a strange whistle between 60 and 120 km/h, not just wind noise, a real whistle! No idea at the dealer how to eliminate it, so I take it as a contribution to traffic safety smile
Beside of that, the car is really stunning, acceleration over 4000 rpm is really crazy.

From design point of view, I am still struggling with the automatic stick from BMW, it is pure pain in the ass. I hope that someone develops a nicer part.

Cheers, Manfred

I have made a record of the noise with my phone.
Something is also loose in the right door and make kling, kling.
I dont have that feeling with the power steering .I am
Missing the double layer hood of the arp4. This plus four
is in every point better than the standard morgan but
in comparison the arp4 was more "special".
The brakes were a lot better and the suspension also very good.

Thanks Thierry,

Maybe you remember we met at Run for The Hills some years ago? Both in our ARP4s? cheersCertainly I agree the ARP4 was more special! I would have loved to have kept mine but my partner never enjoyed being a passneger in it. Can't think why.. innocent Its funny we both ended up in Plus Fours now.

The whistle could well be this old problem.

Headlight rims

It does sound like the headlight rims to me.
If the brake pedal is the same as the trad cars then there is a threaded rod that screws into the clevis pin on the pedal. Slacken the lock nut & you should be able by hand as you wiggle the pedal to screw out the rod i,e, turn it to the left as you face the pedal. This will shorten the travel. You then need to check the micro switch for proper brake light function.

Yes John it is a feature, but quite frankly its not good enough.
My plus six has been off the road now, as two of the wheels a £3600 optional extra! are as soft as toffee and have 'squashed' when I hit a pothole, wheels are not fit for purpose. also battery drains after a couple of weeks none use. my daily car can seem to survive weeks of none use without any issues. for £90k word will get around and sales will slump. i honestly can't say i would recommend one, also my brakes are poor compared to my roadster which are excellent. how can development go backwards?
I love my Morgans, and overall the six is an exciting car. but these issues do spoil ownership.
Rant over.
