ACF-50 will protect against further corrosion but is not a rust converter.

I agree with this. Have used Waxol for years, especially when you can get into cracks, holes, etc. Waxol and Hammerite have been available from Moss in the U.S. Both great. Great in humid wet places as Waxol does creep. I had an 86 +4 in storage in Sussex for over 25 years and used on holidays in UK(wife's family) and would completely Waxol before putting back into storage, especially the chrome wire wheels. Not a sign of rust anywhere.
