I am looking at getting an enclosed trailer. I know I can fit in a 7' wide trailer. My question is what length is the least I can get by with. I really don't want a long trailer due to parking it when I arrive at my off load area. I am wondering if I can get it in a 12' trailer? My plans are to use 2 motorcycle will chocks to hold the front wheels and to put a couple of tie downs at the rear to keep the car stable in the rear. If any of you are using an enclosed trailer, let me know what you are doing and the length of your trailer. I know a 14' would work but would really like the 12' if the car would fit

12' should fit OK: my three wheeler sits in a garage bay which is 11'6" from front to back, and that is enough room for safe clearance from the garage door.

It is tight for sure. I am not familiar with wheel chocks so don’t know how much room you might need for those. There are a number of older threads on here about trailers, perhaps there is some useful wisdom in those.

This post of the Speedy Marmots blog (I mean us sherlock) might be of your interest https://www.speedymarmots.com/fighters-and-bombers-2-the-trailer/

Our trailer is a 3500 mm lenght platform = 11ft 6in and the M3W gets in pretty well

We use one of these:

12' x 6'3.5"

http://www.woodfordtrailers.com/rl-2000

Wouldn't recommend the company itself as build quality of body is shocking but with some after purchase TLC it works well.

Tow's superb.
