I finally made the plunge and placed a deposit on a 2012 M3W. I've wanted one of these for many years. I still need to arrange the rest of balance but it should only take a couple weeks and then she is mine.
I will be coming here frequently to learn more about how to maintain her. I've maintained MGs and Triumphs in the past.
I am planning to affix an RAF and pin up girl (with bomb) to personalise her.
Thank you in advance for all your help I am sure you'll all provide.

Lovely looking machine .... the black with black wheels look has a real 'vintage' vibe .... I've always thought with the new generation m3w that de-chroming the various engine covers and returning them to satin finish raw alloy along with heat-proof blacking the barrels might enhance the vintage look ... I wonder if anyone has tried that?

Welcome Kent, wishing you many happy adventures, there is an absolute wealth of technical knowledge on the M3W thread should you need any informed advice. K - you would love the Swiss Steam Punk M3W that turned up at one of Laurens Treffen's, there are pictures here of it , it was a glorious looking machine.. two or three years ago if you go searching..

It's a lovely machine as it is ... but, you know me, can't resist a bit of tinkering 😀. Looking at the colour difference, are the radiator cowl and headlights nickel plated rather than chrome? .... certainly have the warmer 'old timey' look.
Will try and check out the steampunk three wheeler.
