Here’s a delicious alternative.
Warm kipper fillet sandwiches made with good brown bread ( better than plain white) and plenty of butter.
That man has taste! The best kipper burger I ever had was on the Isle Of Man where the local kipper smoker has a sideline in takeaways. There was a huge queue there when I last went, many of which were furriners. Yes he does. I have also been there. Fantastic stuff. I must try kippers in a sandwich toaster. I might try some smoked mackeral in a toastie for lunch

Kippers on Muffins or Crumpets for us, just hansom for a lunchtime snack, sometimes a little grilled cheddar as a topping. That reminded me of something I have been curious about for a while. Is Muffin the Mule still legal in the UK? What about the Guernsey donkeys
