That will have been lost in the Italian translation maybe...

These prices have certainly taken on a Mafia look now, charging extra for seats that are, well fit for purpose shall we say, or am I being too harsh here ?

Thinking of the Morgan three wheeler bump-steer issues "Comfort" does seem to be MMCSpeak for "A near essential but chargeable upgrade for something we originally got wrong"

here is the response of the factory about the feeling of the brake pedal:

The brakes on 21MY pass all EU braking tests & are perfectly suitable for the performance of the vehicle. In response to customer feedback on brake pedal travel, we have changed brake suppliers for the 22MY vehicles.

I hope this helpful.

Kind Regards,

It is a "pleasure" to be an unpaid and not always appreciated part of the MMC Development team. notworthy

The CX Generation have to be viewed as a transition point, and given these cars, unless there are exemptions for small volume producers, cannot be sold after the end of 2029.
So it should not be a big surprise that MMC wanted to follow their usual policy and launch the cars before development is complete.

I am incredibly satisfied that the S4 Aero Chassis that underpins the Plus 8 was well developed over the life of the Aero chassis, if slightly "value engineered".
It has the best brakes I've ever experienced in a road car, yet the suspension was, until I had the SSL Suspension fitted that had been rejected by the factory (Cost??) disappointing.

The seats are, for the co-pilot and I, very comfortable, everything works and there is little or nothing that needs doing or fiddling with, which is how I like it.

From the price list :-
Comfort Plus Seat
(Features three-way pneumatic adjustment) £990.00

Blimey at £990 I'd take it with std seats and get a good trimmer like Shaun at Allon Whites to sort 'em

That was my thinking, quite an admission though that the standard are well ---- or substandard being polite..they are doing themselves no favours imho

I have had a Plus Four on order for a few months but was told that the « comfort seats » were fitted as standard from October production. That means I will not pay any more when the car is delivered. However I could opt for the comfort plus seat as mentioned in a previous post.

Kind Regards,

Typical "Company Response", but disappointing. I hope they have gone back to AP Racing for the brakes.
As mentioned, the 6 pot calipers on the Plus 8 are better than the AMG Branded Brembo 4 pot calipers on the two AMGs. By better I mean there is almost no free travel, the initial bite is subtle, retardation is linear with increasing pressure and ultimately they stop the car in a progressive manner. Or in a sudden stop they bring the car to a stop, but it is possible to work with the ABS to minimise braking distance.
