Here's an odd question

I have a cunning plan brewing to replace the Ka wing mirrors... does anyone know what size the hole in the quarterlight glass is?

Hello Will,
I am sorry, I can not contribute to your question.
But: concerning your Triumph Stag, could you show a picture of this beauty? I owned one from '74 to '79, had a lot of fun and some problems mainly because Mr. Lucas was not well known in Austria.
I wish you lots of happy miles with your cars.

Karl

ah, Lucas, the prince of darkness ;-)

My Stag is a very early Series 2, which Aunt Pam owned from new, bought by her boyfriend - a relationship that lasted over 50 years! It sat in Pam's garage from '83 to 2015, when I pulled it out & had a first pass at restoration. The engine was rebuilt, and "anything that carries a fluid" was renewed. The body panels that were too far gone were replaced - the rest left for another day, complete with extensive patina (& rust!). The car had done just 27,500 miles, so the interior just needed a wipe down, and the hood a good soak & stretch.

No wing mirrors though!

Love a Stag

My mirrors are off but at the body shop. I’ll try and get him to measure the hole

He says 33/34mm.

I’d prefer to get a more accurate measurement using an gauge when I’m there but might give you enough to go with
