A reaction to a vaccine generally means that your bodies immune system is doing it's job, younger or healthier people are more likely to get stronger reactions than older - at least this is how I understood it?

Had the Pfizer shot this morning, no side effects so far...though not sure if that is a good or bad thing based on the previous few comments...

Going to Salisbury Cathedral on Saturday for a meeting with a needle at 12:40.
I believe it is the Pfitzer version.
I'll report back, if I'm spared.

I've done about 250 vax's now.

The feedback I've had is that frequency of side effects is varied and in most people mild and short lived. The second Pfizer dose tends to generate the most reactions, the young being more prone to this than the more mature.

Enjoy!

We've been volunteering at a local vaccination centre so were able to get the vaccine early. We both had the Pfizer and so far only have a sore arm each.

Thanks John, I’m fine now apart from some slight lethargy but then that’s more likely a combination of age and the cold weather! I’ve a coup,e of friends who’ve had the same vaccine and similar reactions whilst my brother in law and sister have had the Pfizer and no side affects at all. It’ll be interesting to see if the second jab has similar reactions! I’m just glad I’ve had one.
