Hi Greg, I am about 15 miles south of Altrincham in Northwich.
I have owned a M3W from new in 2013 , and been around the block with it many times , literally.
I have done many upgrades / modifications , happy to help if you need a sounding board etc. Ah! Tom at Oakmere mentioned a local owner they saw drive by occasionally, I wonder if it was you they were talking about. If ever you fancy a 2+ M3W I’d be happy to join. Some fab roads near here from Hale to Ashley then towards Mobberley or Knutsford. I am very lucky having Oakmere on my doorstep, the number of times I have walked home having dropped it off to have something done ! Their Tech , Roscoe , is very competent and worth getting to know. A run out sometime would be great , Mobberley / Knutsford is just around the corner ! I have discovered a great run which takes about an hour but really blows the cobwebs on some fine roads which is to go to the outskirts of Chester on the A556 , around the ring road to Wrexham, cross country to Nantwich then head north home on the A49. No moisture in your oil after that ! Then there is Wales ....... Graham

Knutsford to Mobberley/wilmslow is also nice. I get there taking the road from Hale (starts as Ashley Road) which is even better. In any case those are my “out for an hour” and “out for a day” driving roads and would be very happy to join you on either one any time. I do the hale-mobberley-knutsford one several times a week. Any time the sun is out and there’s no meetings for a couple of hours!
