Very nice!

Can we ask for the meaning of your "SP" and "AF" markings? Are those of a particular aircraft? Did you have your dealer apply those?

Enjoy her!

I went for a modern take on the Spitfire theme for my M3W in the form of the A10

[Linked Image]

SP = Spangdahlem (where it was based at the time, the A10’s have all since left Germany but I saw some overhead in Lancaster a couple years ago!)
AF = Air Force (as opposed to the US’s other military branches)
81 = Fiscal year it was put into service (and my birth year)
983 = Last 3 digits of the serial number.

A little creative license was taken with the shark face as this particular aircraft never had it I believe, but many others did.

And just to have them all in the same post...

Plus, the A10 goes BRRRRTT, and the M3W goes BRRRRPP. Close enough wink

Car is back home after a lovely drive in the rain (who doesn’t like the sensation of being stabbed in the face hundreds of times with an ice pick?) and zero belt slipping/hopping/banging.

Got home and the first email I received was that after 2 months my Moto-Lita wheel has shipped! Good day. 😎

Sadly, the barrels are longer than the mog.
